Covid-19

In line with government advice, the clinic will reopen for appointments from Monday, 18th May.

To ensure the safety of patients and myself as physio, there will be some new protocols introduced. Please see details of these procedures outlined below:

Screening

All patients will be screened before entering the building. If a patient is experiencing any symptoms such as, but not limited to; a fever, cough, loss of taste and smell, I ask to please avoid booking an in-clinic appointment. This is to ensure the safety of all patients and physio. Patients who are cocooning or in an ‘at risk’ group are encouraged to book online video consultations as an alternative to clinic appointments.

PPE and Infection Control

Patients and Physio will be required to wear a face mask and gloves throughout the session. Hands should be sanitised before and after the appointment. Gloves and mask should be worn before entering the building. If you do not have your own gloves and mask, they will be provided for you.  All patients will be required to bring their own towel and/or pillow if required for the assessment or treatment.

Reception

Please note, the waiting area and toilets will be closed at this time. The entrance door will be locked at all times. Please wait at the entrance and do not touch the door handle. I will come out to the entrance and open the door to let you in for your appointment. This measure is to limit the number of people touching surface areas in the clinic.

Contactless payment

In order to facilitate contactless payments, all appointments can be booked and paid for online through www.anitaobrienphysio.ie. If you book an appointment via phone or text and wish to pay in person, please use card payments rather than cash. As was the case previously, all receipts and rehab programmes will be automatically sent via email to minimise touching the same paper.

Any queries, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Stay safe folks!
